Comments on: Measure Your Movements Loving LGBT+ People in the Church Thu, 10 Mar 2016 06:59:47 +0000 hourly 1 By: Anonymous Tue, 17 Sep 2013 16:19:10 +0000 I am posting this comment anonymously, because that is what I need to do for now. It amazes me to come to the end of the post and find "NO COMMENTS." The Church needs to wake up. The Church needs to stop dehumanizing those in the LGBT community and those of us who struggle with SSA. So, the "no comments" represents the fear that lots of Christians have around the issue of homosexuality and the fact that it is not going away. There are also the Christians who think that they've got it right and you at Lead Them Home and others who support you have it wrong – this is clearly a misunderstanding coupled with a lack of intellectual humility on their part. The fact that this post has been posted for 2 months without a comment just baffles me.
LOVING WELL…above all else LOVE, LOVE is the Greatest, they will know that we are Christians by our LOVE…the LOVE of Christ is EXTRAVAGANT, It reaches deeper than any other. To love others well with great kindness and grace does not negate what we believe but it is evidence of belief in The GOD who is Creator, Redeemer, Father, SON, Holy Spirit and yes, he is the Ruler and the Judge of the Universe but HIS JUSTICE is ruled with MERCY. If we understand that we are recipients of such GREAT MERCY, then we will be able to LOVE others with the same.
