Lead Them Home’s mission is to nourish faith identity in non-heterosexual
persons seeking to know, love and worship Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by training local church and other ministry leaders on specialized outreach, relational and pastoral care skills. Learn more about Posture Shift.
Our work heavily focuses on eliminating anti-gay bullying and lowering suicidal risk factors for gay teens and young adults. Gay teens can be as much as eight times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers due to a host of factors including bullying, exclusion, and family rejection. We train pastors, elders, seminarians, counselors, university campus ministry, teen camp and other ministry leaders. Ask about our SKYPE training options.
While we do not offer licensed counseling services, we provide extra spiritual support to hundreds of individuals each year. About 50% identify at LGBT+; 50% consider SSA a sin-struggle; and roughly 70% are Christian. We serve
persons from 14 to 84 (80% age 18 to 28).
