Lead Them Home trustees gathered this evening in Boston to review 2014 ministry growth and 2015 ministry goals. Our funding grew from around $95,000 in 2013 to over $150,000 in 2014. The board is currently finalizing a 2015 budget – expected to be $200,000 to $250,000. The number of church and ministry leaders we train and equip tripled in 2014 versus 2013. We anticipate even more growth ahead.
Our funding sources are balanced between ministry services, church partners and general donors. Ministry services are the teaching seminars we offer including Posture Shift, Family Care and The Church That Saves Lives. It also includes our spiritual care of individuals and families and our rapidly growing church consulting work. We will be working to enhance product sales to expand our funding sources and equip more church and ministry leaders.
With this growth, it is becoming more critical that we hire new staff – a goal we hope to achieve within 60 days. We need church partners and general donors more than ever, so please support our work in 2015.
What does this growth have to do with the Gospel? Everything! When we equip and train leaders, they more effectively share Christ with LGBT+/SSA persons in their own congregation and community. They reach many more people locally that we ever will. We train, equip and mobilize leaders to take Jesus to people within their direct reach.
Lead Them Home’s trustees extend our gratitude for each donor and each church/ministry that trusted us to serve them well in 2014. We look forward to doubling our work in 2015.
