Lead Them Home just returned from the hip college town of Eugene, Oregon, where we privately trained and consulted executive church leaders of an influential evangelical church and presented our new 2-day Posture Shift Intensives course for 100 area pastors. It was our best 2-day event yet.

This event occurred because a team from Eugene checked out our Intensives course in Boston this summer. Since our first three inaugural events, we now have numerous church teams asking us to bring Posture Shift Intensives to their church — and their city.

In Eugene, we also presented our new 2017 resource, Guiding Families of LGBT+ Loved Ones, for the first time in the context of our Family Care Seminar in Oregon. Guiding Families helps parents and families respond well to LGBT+ loved ones. It was a God-ordained experience to see parents respond so enthusiastically to Guiding Families.

One mother said:  “This resource is a miracle. I now have answers I have been seeking for over a year.”

Another father reported: “We just found out our son is transgender last night. We already made several big mistakes. Guiding Families has allowed us to learn so much in a very short time. We owe our son an apology.”

* Some details about families are slightly altered to maintain privacy.

Our very first bulk inventory of Guiding Families arrived just a few weeks ago, and we’re already getting dozens of orders each week! You can order now and receive within 5 days. Every church should order several copies to have on hand when parents in their congregation seek help.

Do you know a family whose child has recently come out? As we move into the holiday season, help families find support and be equipped to effectively relate to their child. Invite them to attend our Boston seminar and connect with other families on a similar journey.

Please share the EventBrite page below with any Christian parents you know in New England who are walking with their LGBT+ child.

Memorial Gifts

If you cannot come, we invite you to extend Christ’s love from your church community by donating a memorial item: a card, candle, plaque or anything else you feel led to give. Mail your item to us by December 1, and we’ll take it to the site. Mail items to:

Lead Them Home
ATTN: Pulse Memorial
100 Powdermill Rd, Suite 325
Acton, MA 01720

You can also donate $12 to Lead Them Home and we will purchase a memorial candle and card in your name or your church’s name. Lead Them Home will not retain any monies donated for memorial purposes.

Donate $12

Your gift will encourage victim families and survivors who routinely visit the Pulse site and leave a “mark in history” showing that Christians reflected Christ’s love in a time of terror, trauma and grieving. The Orange County Regional History Center will preserve memorial items. Learn more.
