Calvary Baptist Church invited Lead Them Home to present Posture Shift Seminar to New York leaders at their site. Roughly 75 local pastors experienced our biblical, missiological model for LGBT+ inclusion and care offered through our training.
After experiencing our 3-hour seminar, New York leaders invited Lead Them Home to return to present our 2-day, open-access Posture Shift Intensives Course (dates TBA).
Ninety percent of our work consists of private, at-your-site staff trainings, which provide a great setting to consider ministry challenges specific to a church, ministry, or organization. However, open-access Posture Shift events are increasing in popularity. Open-access events allow even more local leaders to attend a training, catching and develop a similar vision, model, and approach together to better reach LGBT+ people inside, outside, and across their ministry contexts.
We would like to thank Calvary Baptist Church for hosting this open-access seminar for local leaders. A special thanks goes out to our friend Ray, who helped make Posture Shift NYC possible. You may have read Ray’s story of being unjustly terminated from a ministry position. We praise God that this month, Ray has accepted a position as a youth pastor at a New York church.
Please pray for NY churches as they mobilize their knowledge to nourish faith in LGBT+ people who encounter them.
Senior leaders: we invite you to catalyze a posture shift toward LGBT+ people in your ministry context. Learn more about our Posture Shift training suite at postureshift.com.
